Jack Fiore

Position: Postbaccalaureate Fellow

Education: BS, Computational Biology, University of Pittsburgh

Jack’s research focuses on understanding age-dependent and tissue-dependent dynamics of influenza virus infection. He is analyzing bulk RNA-seq data collected from ferrets using a variety of computational techniques. Jack’s research will provide insights into key genetic factors that dictate severity of influenza virus infection, and how these factors vary between different tissues and across age groups.

Career Goal: Jack’s current goal is to enter a computational biology PhD program.
